The rationale for the test
With the mass production of high-power PV components, the demand for compatible tracking mounts is also rising. A complete wind tunnel test can provide researchers with a large amount of data that can be used as an important basis for the wind resistance design of PV mounts. With these data, a high wind resistance strategy can be implemented in the early design stage, thus effectively avoiding a series of risks caused by different wind conditions during use. In addition, wind tunnel experiments can also play a crucial role in understanding the mutual interference between photovoltaic arrays, and the influence of inclination angle and wind direction angle on power generation efficiency.
